Spinning update

I realize I never followed up my spinning teaser. I know that the millions of people who read this have been terribly disapointed. To sum up: we both had fun and have made our very first crappy yarn. Capeman was happy to learn the process (and I think he did a nice job) but found the work too "analog" and organic to be something he'd want to keep doing. My what the hell it looks like yarn doesn't it attitude helped a bit and I really enjoyed it. I've spun some more since and then got a chance to spin some alpaca fleece. Mmmmmmmm. That is way yummy. Now of course I'm debating whether a spinning wheel is in my future. I just need to make sure I'd be able to do something with my handspun. If I'm sure it will be useful I'll probably go for it and look into getting one. I'm one spazoid fiber geek between the quilting knitting and now spinning. sheesh.
Stay tuned for weaving - there's this class we might take....
